It's made by the same company that makes Seagulls and Godin electronics. The necks of the Seagulls I tried were pretty wide and thick and to get one with pickups was just outside of what I wanted to spend for my first guitar. Great list and info though!

Dustins last blog post..dustimus: @bnpositive ~ Clifty Falls (which hopefully is a noun and will not be used as a verb after our camping trip)

Re: Acoustic Guitars for Beginners

i bought an Art & Lutherie two months ago and i'm having a great time with it. i am a drummer, so it's nice to be able to "play" music (my drummer buds will kick me for that). i spent a few days shopping guitars and settled on the Art & Lutherie. I started playing about 13 years ago, and it's been awesome the whole time. It's not too hard to learn the basics, so give it a try!

Re: Acoustic Guitars for Beginners

it's worth it! I LOVE the acoustic guitar. My hubby can play but not me, and none of my kids have the desire to try. Figures! I've thought about taking lessons several times over the years, but each time something comes up or I talk myself out of it. Thanks for the list in case I decide to go through with it at some point. Ha, ha :)

scotties last blog post..Busy day

Re: Acoustic Guitars for Beginners

You know...this is the one thing I wished that I had learned when I was younger.
