Just think what will happen to you if you don't start wearing shoes and pants to church...that sounded wierd.

I guess then it would be easier to stab me in the butt cheek?

What kind of church does that guy go to?...seriously though that's ridiculous.

I would guess a Baptist church, but I'm just taking a stab at it (ha!)

I was raised believing that men, teenagers, and boys were to take off their hat ( and their pants pulled up so that the world couldn't see their undies) before they entered church as a show of respect for God. Now that said, I wouldn't go so far as to stab a relative if he entered church and didn't remove his hat--- If he was my child he'd know better. I'd just give him a good, swift slapping upside his head, allowing the hat to fall off ,and thus the problem would be solved. (Don't mess with momma....) :)

I honestly think these two had other 'underlying' problems more so than just wardrobe issues, and this was the final straw that broke the camel's back.

I agree with you, especially the sagging pants thing. And yeah, a stabbing is not a normal father/son squabble. There are some serious underlying problems there!
