Its insane to see, with all our technology its still impossible to find people and as random as you found her, its still a great thing.

I hope you two can get past the awkward in person thing. Just remember, emotions are conveyed less easy on the internet.

Awwww. I can say it's been so cute to see your Twitter updates to one another. I agree. If you would have told me that this would have happened, I would have been very skeptical. But, God has lined up so many little things that led us to each other, and since then has continued to pave the way. It's really cool to see it all unfold, actually!

Ok, so I just stumbled upon your blog. I have to say - this post is a little sappy, but I have to say that Hubby and I met the same way (back with the original IM beta software program - POWWOW - wayyyyyy back when! *few people will remember the program* Before it was cool to meet people "online" & get married.) He was stationed overseas, but after a few extended visits back and forth, we knew it was "right" and about a year and half later we got married. We've been married 12 years and two kids later & live in AZ. We got to know each other very well via chat/email/phone for about 6 months before we met. There is something to be said for having the ability to communicate and REALLY get to know someone well before meeting them. Our relationship was far deeper and more connected than with anyone else we met and dated or had seriously relationships with - even someone else I almost married - because we were able to talk, unguarded about the deep things that were most important to us. I wish you luck and hope things work out! :) Keep us posted! ;)

Wow, that is such an encouraging story! And I could not agree with you more about getting to know someone over the phone/IM before meeting... we both think that we have such an advantage over regular relationships because of the foundation we are building right now. I know so much about her, and she about me, and that has come from the countless hours of conversation. Thanks for commenting!
