I don't wear pajamas so that could be a problem for me. I also didn't go to college and my job kind of frowns on pjs. Heh.

Yeah, I work for AT&T;, and I have a feeling that if I did that now, I would get a pink slip.

I'm still in college, and you're right, it's completely acceptable as long as the person wearing the PJs can accept that. I have a friend who frowns on anyone who wears sweatpants outside the house or gym. I assume he'd feel the same about PJs.

Well, I can understand sweatpants ONLY in the gym. But with pajamas, you get the cool textures and patterns, so you want to show them off. For example, I have some pajamas with skiing polar bears on them. That is cool! My sweat pants, on the other hand, are boring gray.

i wanted to do that way back in college but the school had a dress code. i lived near the campus and had only one early morning class. the rest were in the late afternoon. it was really a waste of time getting myself done then after an hour's class i'll just go back to sleep again. :(

I think the line between pajamas and casual wear has blurred significantly by now. I doubt you'd see many (if any) people in public dressed like the guy in the supermarket picture above. But my winter "PJ's" regularly consist of baggy plaid drawstring pants and a comfy t-shirt. That practically defines my usual "weekend trip to the hardware store" or early morning "shopping trip for something important for the baby that we somehow ran out of without noticing" clothes too. :)
