  • Ooooo, that would be a tough one. I guess if you can use it at work, then that might work. But I am so dependent on it these days, I dunno...
  • I got rid of cable for almost a year in order to help save up for my wife's engagement ring/wedding band and paid in cash - and they weren't cheap either. Anything to help save a few bucks a month. I also quit eating out for the most part and never used credit cards - still refuse to use credit cards.

  • I sold my gas-guzzling truck and now drive a '87 Volvo I fixed up to run on urine. You think your idea to "always purchase the biggest drink possible" pays off now? I can make it to Alabama on a Route 44 Cherry-Limeade from Sonic.

  • @patrickwitherow - I haven't used a credit card in a long time as well, mostly because I abused them years back and am now paying for it!
